MATERIALS/RESOURCES REQUIRED

Most of the activities in this package include the relevant materials such as visual examples of musical elements and templates/tables to be filled in by the students.

In addition to these, it is recommended that students have

– A music journal to record their ideas when answering the reflection questions for each musical element

– Access to a wide variety of percussion instruments such as Aboriginal clapping sticks so that they can demonstrate their rhythmic patterns  (in addition to using their voices and clapping)
